TCI Engineering partnered with Pomoca to design and deliver a next generation automatic gluing system tailored to their high precision manufacturing needs. The solution centered around the integration of advanced Nordson equipment VersaBlue 50L melters and TrueCoat FS applicators within a fully modular automation platform. Built to meet strict Swiss standards for safety, ergonomics, and environmental compliance, the system was designed to handle diverse materials and processes while ensuring scalability and flexibility in production.

The primary objective was to create a high performance machine capable of applying glue to “skins” with exceptional precision and consistency. The system needed to support a wide range of material properties and include modules for glue application, tension control, thermal management, and material handling. Additionally, it had to be CE certified and offer modularity for future upgrades or process changes.
